The Batman v. Superman + Wonder Woman training program!

This post is perfect timing considering the fact that “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” is right around the corner (March 25th, 2016!!)

Believe it or not, we have some of the same abilities that some of comic book’s greatest heroes possess, although in a different form and in some cases, on a different scale.

  1. Superman – supes in the sun

Depending on who you ask, he’s either the most awesome hero or the lamest. Ask me and I’ll say he falls in the former category. Born on the distant planet of Krypton, Ka-el, known to earth as Superman, gets his awesome powers from our yellow sun.

Super strength, speed, unlimited stamina ( in the presense of a yellow sun), and heat vision are just a few of his abilities. What do we have in common with Supes and how can we activate our hidden powers?

1st Super Strength – We’ve all heard stories about people who have demonstrated super human strength under extremely adverse conditions, situations where they were forced to save their own lives or anothers.

How to activate it – Simple: by putting yourself on a progressive strength training program. Focus your efforts on the big 3: The squat, the bench press, and the deadlift to activate as much muscle as possible and to get as strong as possible:

  • Focus on lifting in a 3- 5 reps range for each lift.
  • Rest 3-5 minutes in between sets.
  • Focus on each lift per training day to prevent nervous system burnout.
  • Get at least 10-15 minutes of steady state, low intensity cardio training daily to keep your heart and lungs in tip top shape. You should train in the low end of your max heart zone to maximize fat burning and in the midrange of your max cardio zone to increase heart strength training.
  • Keep your body in optimal health with proper diet and supplementation. If you live in a climate that gets cold during the winter, then you’ll want to make sure that you’re getting adequate vitamin c. Not only will it help keep your mood happy during the dark winter days, but it will also help your body burn more fat by helping it produce more testosterone.

2. Batman – batman-110498

Arguably on of the most powerful – and dangerous – heroes in the DC universe, Batman is one of the few human beings that Superman acknoweldges as an equal, and one of the few human beings that’s been able to beat Supes to a pulp on several occasions.

Aside from his massive wealth, his rigorous diet and fitness program, his greatest assets are his keen intellect and indomitable will.

While you may not have his massive wealth (yet!!) , you can still start to develop awesome functional fitness and an unbeatable spirit by practicing the following in your daily life:

  • Push your mental and physical limits just a little bit each day. For instance, if you’re getting ready to eat a snack, see how long you can resist the urge to eat it. Sit it right in front of you:( Willpower is a muscle that you can strengthen with daily, consistent and intelligent use.
  • Say “no” more often. Putting your foot down allows you to powerfully express yourself and stand up for your greater good. For more powerful ways to increase your will power and motivation, grab your copy of my new book by clicking here.
  • Do functional fitness training 2-3 days a week, using a combination of your bodyweight, kettlebells, dumbbells, tires, and anything else that you can get your hands on.
  • Focus your function training on as many varieties of pushing, pulling, and lifting movements as possible. Train your body to do pullups, planks, bear crawls, etc. For a good example of a functional training session that combines heavy lifting with functional dumbbell training, check out my recent training session by clicking here.
  •  Take contrast showers: Hop in the shower and alternate between hot and cold water for short periods of time.
  • Reduce or completely eliminate alcohol. The estrogen-izing effects on men can destroy all the testosterone building work you’ve been doing in the gym.
  • Train your observation skills and you will develop a better memory as a result. When you look at an object, study it deeply, notice it’s color, textures, smells, etc.

3. Wonder Woman – Wonder-Woman-Promo-Art-600x340

Last and certainly the MOST, is the princess of the amazons, the lovely and powerful Diana Prince, known to the comic book world at large as Wonder Woman. She is one of the most physically powerful heroes in the DC universe, has golden bracelets that can reflect gunfire, can fly AND she’s got a lasso that makes you tell the truth!

For the ladies reading this now, in order to achieve a physique like Wonder Woman, here’s what you do:

  • Train like superman: Don’t worry, becauseo f the differencei n the levels of testosterone between men and women, you won’t bulk up like the man of steel. You will however, become solid and powerful. You’ll develop a body like this and endurance to match:

  • Focus on total body movements and calisthenics to develop muscular endurance and a atheltic body type.
  • Focus on improving your static and dynamic flexbility with a wide variety of stretches and movements. Bodyweight squats and lunges are perfect examples of dynamic movements.
  • Force people to tell you the truth to verbally commanding them to do so. Hey, with your new developed supr strength, they’d be idiots to lie to your face.

By training like these 3 powerful heroes, you can develop superhuman strength and endurance in as little as a few weeks. Remember to check out my youtube channel for training videos and peak performance techniques
